The Institute for Research Middle Eastern Policy (IRmep) is a think tank working to define, communicate and promote America's true interests in the Middle East. Founded in 2002, the Institute became an independent non-profit tax-exempt organization in 2003.

IRmep recognizes that the United States has many broad and vital interests in the region.   In particular, IRmep believes in increased American engagement with all nations of the region.   IRmep promotes the peaceful settlement of regional and international disputes by returning the U.S. to its higher role: that of a just and neutral regional influence. 

IRmep produces research, publications, focused educational events and study tour programs to the Middle East.   IRmep provides policymakers, diplomats, businesspeople and journalists with accurate cost-benefit analysis of existing U.S. policies.  We present higher yielding alternatives that promote regional development, trade, security and justice in one of the world's most volatile, yet promising, regions.   IRmep works with other research and content distribution channels to promote and advance the broader interests of the American people.  Join today!

IRmep Support Levels

Basic is $39 per year. Members receive monthly bulletins and updates via email.

Congress Watch is $100 a year. In addition to basic membership benefits, you receive a quarterly packet of The Institute for Research Middle Eastern Policy Inc. key reports on Middle East foreign policy issues before Congress and quarterly audio CDs of IRmep policymaker events.

Associates is $500 a year. Associates are invited to one meeting per year. These Washington, DC-based meetings serve as a great opportunity to meet other members from around the nation and talk to IRmep policy experts. In addition, members are invited to attend regional events in their area.  Semi-annual video tapes of IRmep policymaker events.

President's Club give $1,500 a year. Membership includes all Associates privileges, plus an invitation to the annual Leadership Conference and Board Meeting.

Founders give $5,000 a year. Membership includes all President's benefits, plus invitations to private receptions, briefings, and special events.   Private briefing on IRmep policy intervention strategies and activities.
